Doldrum is an independent record label I started in 1997 as an outlet to release my own albums (Kindergarten, Ode To The Urchin, Devils In The Details, The Pagan States, Falling To Pisces). It branched out slowly to include other indie recording artists I admired and wanted to help. But, it has since come full circle to its original purpose, which is simply a way for me to remain D.I.Y. and to write, record, and release albums without an outside label telling me what to do and when to do it. Doldrum is also my publishing company I have registered with BMI. Every song I’ve released commercially was first run through BMI with myself listed as the songwriter and Doldrum listed as the publisher. In 2009 a third head was spawned as a virtual venue for me to play live shows under the name Linus Radford. If you are logged into Second Life, just click Doldrum for a direct teleport.
